VIP casino revenue grows 18 pct in June

VIP gross gaming revenue grew at 17.7 percent last month in year-on-year terms, says Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

VIP revenue accounted for about two-thirds of Macau’s gross gaming revenue in June.

In May, VIP gross gaming revenue grew by 7.3 percent in year-on-year terms, yesterday’s client note says.

Mass-market table revenue growth in June outstripped growth in the VIP segment with a year-on-year growth rate of 31.5 percent and slot revenue rose 12 percent.

Casino gross gaming revenue was MOP28.3 billion last month (US$3.54 billion), 21.1 percent higher than the same time last year, official data shows.
