Union Gaming Research Macau has reduced its forecasts of gaming revenue in the city’s casinos this year and the second half of the year.

Its analysts now expect revenue from VIP gaming to be 3 percent lower this year than last year, and 8 percent lower in the second half than a year earlier.

They expect revenue from mass-market table gaming to be 26 percent higher this year than last year, and 18 percent higher in the second half than a year earlier.

Sterne Agee forecasts that gross gaming revenue in the city’s casinos this month will be somewhere between 3 percent lower and 2 percent higher than year ago.
