Tourist arrivals increase 4.7 pct in Golden Week

Tourist arrivals in the first five days of the Golden Week holidays last week were about 4.7 percent higher than a year earlier, official data show.

The Macau Government Tourist Office said mainland tourist arrivals had risen by 10.7 percent from last year.

Between Tuesday and Saturday there were 678,371 arrivals, nearly 82 percent were from the mainland.
