Tourism economy forum to focus on cultural tourism

This year’s Global Tourism Economy Forum in Macau will concentrate on cultural tourism, according to the head of the Secretariat of Social Affairs and Culture, Lai Ieng Kit.

The conference will take place in the Venetian Macao from October 12 to 14.

“The forum will allow us to explore different cultures, traditional art forms and explore the various tourism economies,” Mr Lai said.

“This is also an opportunity to promote regional and world development in relation to tourism.”
