Study finds 40 pct of casino workers wish to quit

A study has found that nearly 40 percent of casino employees that have worked in gaming for less than five years wish to leave in the next six to 12 months, the Jornal Ponto Final reports.

The Portuguese-language newspaper says one of the main reasons given for wishing to leave is burnout.

The study was done by scholars from the University of Macau and the Institute for Tourism Studies.

The study report says casino managers should pay more attention to stress among their employees, reduce workloads and improve roster arrangements.
