SANDS CHINA TAKES LEAD IN CASINO GAMING MARKET

Sands China Ltd took the largest share of Macau’s casino gaming revenue last month as a decline in takings from VIP gaming cost SJM Holdings Ltd leadership of the market, Business Daily reports.

The newspaper’s own calculations indicate that Sands China’s share of the market grew to 24.6 percent while the share taken by SJM Holdings shrank to 22.4 percent.

Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd had 21 percent of casino gaming revenue, Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd 13 percent, Wynn Macau 10.1 percent and MGM China Holdings Ltd 8.9 percent.
