Rising costs curb Air Macau profit growth in 2013

Airline operator Air Macau Co Ltd has reported that its annual profit rose by 0.6 percent last year to MOP 281.5 million (US$35 million).

Air Macau says its revenue rose by 7.5 percent to MOP3.56 billion.

The company says rises is the price of fuel and other operating costs hampered its performance, but that improvements in its services and cost controls meant growth in its earnings was steady.
