Rents for premium office space rise 24.3 pct in Q1

Rents for grade-A offices in Macau were 24.3 percent higher in the first quarter of this year than in the preceding quarter, Business Daily reports.

The newspaper quotes Jones Lang LaSalle as saying the average rent per square metre was MOP2,703 (US$339).

The estate agency says Macau could soon surpass Shanghai as the third-most expensive city in Greater China for office tenants.
