Q2 gaming revenue up to MOP86.16b despite fewer tables

Despite a slight decrease in the number of gaming tables, the gross gaming revenue of Macau’s games of fortune rose 1.03 percent to MOP 86.16 billion in the second quarter of this year. The aggregated gaming revenue of the two quarters is MOP171.44b, according to the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau’s latest update. The number of casinos remains at 35, while gaming tables decreased slightly by 3 to a total of 5,746 in the second quarter. For slot machines, the number dropped by 1,096 to 15,310 in total.  `
