New housing in prime areas in Macau is among the most expensive in the world, Business Daily reports.

The newspaper infers this from the results of a survey by an international estate agency and figures given by Macau estate agencies.

A survey by CBRE found the most expensive new housing in prime areas was in London and the second-most expensive was in Hong Kong.

The survey did not include Macau, but Business Daily says figures given by Macau estate agencies indicate that the city is among the 10 most expensive for new housing in prime areas.
