A new survey found that around 77 percent of employees received a salary increase of between 5 and 10 percent last year, in a corporate move to retain staff.
hello-jobs.com carried out a salary survey aimed at reflecting the latest trends of salary and welfare. Local employees were invited to take part in the six-month research and survey.
The survey also shows that 9 percent of workers received salary increases of between 10 and 15 percent, while 11 percent saw rises of more than 15 percent.
The pay rises are spread throughout the different sectors, particularly accounting, gaming, hospitality, retail and information technology, according to the survey.
The survey also says that the hotel, gaming and luxury retail sectors will see greater manpower demands in the future.
