New domestic loans dip to MOP388.8 bln in October

Macau banks granted loans worth MOP388.8 billion (about US$48.6 billion) to the private sector in the city in October, 0.4 per cent less than the month before, the Monetary Authority of Macau says.

The authority’s data indicate that the value of new external lending by banks increased by 0.3 per cent to MOP387.1 billion.

The broader M2 measure of money supply decreased by 0.9 per cent to MOP478.1 billion.
