MOP300 mln to be pumped into 3 Macau 4G network

Hutchison Telephone (Macau) Co Ltd says it intends to  invest nearly MOP300 million (about US$37.5 million) in developing its 3 Macau fourth-generation wireless network.

Parent company Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Ltd’s operating chief, Jennifer Tan, told reporters in Hong Kong that 3 Macau would inaugurate its 4G service in the fourth quarter of this year.

Ms Tan said the network would cover half of Macau by the end of this year.
