MIA Q1-Q3 passenger throughput grows to 4.3 mln

Macau International Airport handled about 4.3 million passengers the first three quarters of this year, 6 per cent more than in the corresponding period last year, the airport operator says.

The company says the number of passengers from the mainland fell by 1 per cent, while the number from Southeast Asia rose by 14 per cent and the number from Taiwan rose by 4 per cent.

The number of takeoffs and landings handled increased by 7.5 per cent to 41,000.
