Gross gaming revenue may reach over MOP31 billion (US$3.8 billion) this month, according to Citigroup and Nomura.

Citigroup’s analysts led by Anil Daswani are predicting May to exceed their estimates of MOP30 billion.

They say that table gaming revenue for the first 19 days of the month amounted to MOP18.4 billion, Bloomberg reports.

Japanese brokerage Nomura continues to expect the full month to come in within the range of MOP30 billion and 31 billion, up by between 15 percent and 19 percent year-on-year.

“Given the pickup in growth momentum, May is tracking closer to the higher end of the range provided, and the house doesn’t see slowdown in the remaining 12 days,” Nomura said.

Monthly gaming revenue rose to a record MOP31.3 billion in March.
