May casino revenue up 12-14 percent: Sterne Agee

U.S.-based brokerage firm Sterne Agee forecasts Macau’s gross gaming revenues will grow between 12 to 14 percent year-on-year in May.

Analyst David Bain wrote in a note that according to the firm’s checks, May’s table-only gross gaming revenue stood at MOP24 billion (US$3 billion) through to May 26.

“Including slots, the gross revenue run rate for May is MOP29.8 billion or an increase of 14 percent year-on-year, in line with our initial estimate,” Mr Bain wrote.
