Macau casinos could see a record breaking month in March, analysts say.

U.S. brokerage Sterne Agee forecasts the Macau gaming industry to post revenues of MOP30.5 billion (US$3.8 billion).

Analyst David Bain has inched up his March year-on-year estimate to plus 22 percent, which is seven percent higher that Macau’s all-time monthly record set in December of last year.

Wells Fargo is also expecting March revenues to grow between 24 and 27 percent against its previous 19 to 24 percent estimate.

RBC Capital Management says that so far this month gross gaming revenue generated in Macau casinos, excluding electronic gaming tables, has increased 29.5 percent year-over-year.

Analyst John Kempf predicts March’s total gaming revenue could rise 25 percent, marking a new monthly record.
