Macau is 7th holiday choice for mainland’s richest

Macau is the seventh-most popular destination among the wealthiest of tourists from the mainland this year, according to the latest Chinese Luxury Travel report.

The report says that last year the city was the fifth-most popular destination.

In the interval Taiwan and Shanghai have overtaken Macau in popularity among the richest tourists from the mainland.

This year Sanya, on the southern island of Hainan, is the most popular destination for the fifth year in a row, and Hong Kong is the third-most popular.
