Lui Che Woo predicts 40-50 pct profit jump in 2015

The chairman of Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd, Lui Che Woo, has forecast that his company’s annual profit will grow by between 40 percent and 50 percent next year.

Galaxy Entertainment made a profit of MOP10.4 billion (US$1.3 billion) last year.

Mr Lui told the CNBC television channel that said he expects the second phase of the Galaxy Macau casino-resort to increase Galaxy Entertainment’s revenue when it opens next year.

“I expect next year to be definitely better than this year,” he said.
