Less tourists during Mid-autumn festival

Visitors to Macau during the mid-autumn festival recorded a decrease of 6.74 percent year-on-year, according to the Public Security Police Force (PSP). From September 19 to 22, a total of 729,614 visitors was recorded through seven immigration checkpoints: namely Border Gate, Lotus Bridge, Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal, Inner Harbor Wharf, Macau International Airport, Cross-border Industrial Zone and Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal. Among the total number of arrivals, tourists made up 470,000, which indicated a decrease of 6.74 percent from figures taken during the same period of last year. The total number of departures stood at 733,373 in the mid-autumn Festival, the PSP has announced.
