Iao Kun December VIP gaming turnover rises 5 pct

Junket room investor Iao Kun Group Holding Co Ltd says its rolling chip turnover last month rose 5 percent from a year earlier to US$1.36 billion (MOP10.86 billion).

The win rate for the month was 3.42 percent.

The company’s rolling chip turnover was US$17.04 billion last year – an average of US$1.42 billion per month – 7 percent less than the year before.

Iao Kun has interests in five VIP gaming rooms in Macau casinos. Since September 2012, its VIP rooms have been run on a revenue-sharing model.
