Guangdong red tape vexes Macau logistics companies

Logistics enterprises in Macau complain that bureaucracy remains an obstacle to doing business over the border in Guangdong, Business Daily reports.

The newspaper quotes unidentified people in shipping and logistics as saying that while the Guangdong Free Trade Zone may benefit their industry, setting up a company in the mainland and customs clearance ought to be made easier.

Business Daily quotes Guangdong Governor Zhu Xiaodan as saying during the ceremony to unveil a plaque in the zone that the mainland authorities will try to make it easier for Macau or Hong Kong service enterprises to invest there.
