Growth spike forecast for February casino revenue

Sterne Agee has raised this month’s forecast for annual growth in gross gaming to between 26 percent and 28 percent – up to MOP34.8 billion (US$4.35 billion).

It had estimated growth would be between 17 percent and 21 percent.

The revamped forecast is based on revenue in the first 16 days of the month.

The brokerage says table-only gross gaming revenue stood at MOP22.2 billion on Sunday.
