Govt spends MOP19.3 mln of development fund in Q2

The government paid 191 companies or associations a total of MOP19.3 million (US$2.42 million) out of the Industrial and Commercial Development Fund in the second quarter of this year, official data show.

The Official Gazette says the Macao Convention & Exhibition Association got MOP8.4 million for a week-long event in the western city of Chengdu to promote Macau.

The Industry and Commerce Federation of Macau Central and Southern District got MOP1.35 million to advertise activities in older districts of the city.

The Industry and Commerce Federation of the Islands of Macao got MOP600 million for the development of a small and medium enterprise centre.
