The Labour Affairs Bureau has received four appeals to help ease distress caused by the closure of VIP gaming rooms during the casino slump,
Secretary of the Economy and Finance Lionel Leong Vai Tac has said.
Mr Leong told reporters that the appeals were to help 52 workers affected.
He said the government would keep monitoring the effects of the gaming slump on employment and strengthen contingency measures to support workers that are laid off by retraining them and helping them find new jobs.
