Govt gives casino operator nod for 150 new tables

The government says it has given the operator of a new resort in Macau permission to put 150 new gaming tables in the resort’s casino.

The government says so in a written statement which fails to identify the casino operator or the resort.

The Portuguese-language Jornal Tribuna de Macau, without identifying its sources, reported recently that the government had given Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd permission to put 150 new gaming tables in the second phase of its Galaxy Macau casino-resort, which is due to open shortly.
