Govt expects Taipa reclamation to begin in 2015Q1

Work on reclaiming land from the sea by the Taipa ferry terminal is now due to begin in the first quarter of next year, the Infrastructure Development Office says.

The reclamation work had previously been due to begin in the third quarter of last year.

The office has received  eight bids for the contract to reclaim 53 hectares, where community facilities and transport infrastructure will be built.
