GOVT APPROVES REDEVELOPMENT OF INNER HARBOUR PLOT

The government says it will permit the construction of shops and housing on a plot of land by the Inner Harbour, near the Ponte 16 casino.

Three buildings now occupy the 186 square metres of land where Rua do Bispo Enes and Rua do Guimarães intersect.

The government has given the developer, Future Sun Resources Ltd, three years to replace the buildings with an eight-storey commercial and residential complex.
