Executive Council member Eddie Wong Yue Kai expects housing prices in Macau to ease soon, Business Daily reports.

“What goes up must come down,” the newspaper quotes Mr Wong, an architect by profession, as saying in an interview.

He said the high prices that deprived ordinary people of the chance to buy a home were due to the inadequate supply of housing.

“The government has to consider how to offer more supply so that the general public can have the opportunity,” Mr. Wong said.
