Galaxy Entertainment leads October’s gaming market

Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd had the largest share of Macau’s gaming market last month, taking 24.7 per cent of the city’s MOP20.06 billion (about US$2.51 billion) in gross gaming revenue, Business Daily reports.

The newspaper, citing its own calculations, says Sands China Ltd had 23.1 per cent of gaming revenue and SJM Holdings Ltd, September’s market leader, had 20.6 per cent.

Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd had 13.5 per cent, Wynn Macau Ltd had 9.3 per cent and MGM China Holdings Ltd 8.7 per cent.
