Foreign exchange reserves dip 1.4 percent in April

The Monetary Authority of Macau estimates that the city’s foreign exchange reserves amounted to MOP120.3 billion (US$15.07 billion) at the end of last month.

The reserves were 1.4 percent smaller than a month earlier and 6.6 percent smaller than a year earlier.

They were the equivalent of 13 times the currency in circulation at the end of March.
