Exporters cheerier about prospects in Q2 and Q3

Some 23.3 percent of Macau’s manufacturing exporters polled in the first quarter of this year expected their sales to increase in the following six months, the latest purchasing managers survey has found.

In the preceding quarter only 14.5 percent had expected sales to increase.

Another 14.6 percent of exporters polled in the first quarter expected their sales to decrease in the following six months.

In the preceding quarter 19.4 percent had expected sales to decrease.
