Ex-secretary to focus on Pearl Delta cooperation

A Macau member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Francis Tam Pak Yuen, has said he will concentrate on promoting closer cooperation among Macau and neighbouring parts of China during the session of the conference now in progress.

Mr Tam was until recently Macau’s secretary of the economy and finance.

He told reporters as he left to attend the session in Beijing that as a member of the conference he would join in any effort to support the Macau government.
