Estate agent expects surge in office rents in H1

Centaline (Macau) Property Agency Ltd predicts that average rents for office space will be 20 percent higher in the first half of this year than a year earlier, our sister publication Business Daily reports.

The newspaper quotes the estate agent’s first-quarter property review as saying office rents rose by 10 percent in the first quarter.

The estate agent also predicts that the annual rise in average rents for shop space will be between 25 percent and 30 percent in the first half.
