Gaming equipment supplier Scientific Games Corp has agreed to pay about US$3.3 billion (MOP26.34 billion), excluding net debt of US$1.8 billion, to buy Bally Technologies Inc, a maker of lottery game and shuffling machines, Bloomberg reports.

The news agency quotes Scientific Games as saying it will pay US$83.30 per share in cash for Bally Technologies.

The companies expect consolidation to save them US$220 million in running costs and US$25 million in capital spending each year.
