Consumer price inflation 6.36 pct in March

The annual rate of consumer price inflation was 6.36 percent last month as the cost of eating in restaurants, renting a home and buying vegetables increased, the Statistics and Census Service says.

The annual rate of housing and fuel price inflation was 10.66 percent, and food and non-alcoholic drink price inflation was 6.62 percent.

But communication costs were 2.12 percent lower than a year earlier.
