Chui presents 2015 budget to Legislative Assembly

Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On has presented his government’s budget for next year to the Legislative Assembly.

The budget envisages a fiscal surplus of MOP70.94 billion (US$8.88 billion).

The government plans to spend MOP83.72 billion and receive revenue of MOP154.66 billion.

Mr Chui says the estimate of the fiscal surplus is conservative, in view of the slump in gaming revenue.
