Chui forecasts 2016 gaming revenue of MOP200 bln

Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On predicts that Macau’s gross gaming revenue will shrink to about some MOP200 billion (about US$25 billion) next year, curbing his government’s tax revenue.

Mr Chui said so in his 2016 Policy Address to the Legislative Assembly.

But he said he also expected the government to have another fiscal surplus next year without curtailing services to the city’s people or improvement of its infrastructure.
