Chui cautiously optimistic about Macau’s economy

Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On has said he is cautiously optimistic about the prospects for the economy.

Mr Chui told reporters that the government was financially stable and would have a fiscal surplus this year.

He said the government would obey the Basic Law and spend less than it collected in revenue.
