Chui aiming to force hand of casinos on purchasing

Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On has said that, once he is re-elected, he will try to make gaming companies and government departments buy supplies that are made in Macau, whenever possible.

Mr Chui told a meeting with business associations that the purpose would be to help the city’s small and medium enterprises.

“I think this would be appreciated by society. After all, we would be using our own products,” he said.
