Casinos primed to set revenue records next month

Casino gross gaming revenue will break records next month, according to a forecast by United States brokerage Sterne Agee.

Analyst David Bain says hotel capacity has grown by 8 percent, restrictions on migrant workers have been relaxed, public transport to Macau has improved and capacity at the Gongbei border crossing has grown.

He says there is pent-up demand in the wake of Typhoon Usagi last weekend that will spill into next month.
