Average price of housing rises by 2.6 pct in June

The average price of housing rose to MOP92,497 per square metre (about US$11,562) in June, 2.6 per cent more than in May but 5 percent less than a year earlier, the Financial Services Bureau says.

The bureau’s data indicate that 602 homes were sold in June, of which 129 were sold off the plan.

The average price of completed housing was MOP84,620, or 7.2 per cent less than a year earlier.
