Average price of housing rises 6 pct in November

The average price of housing increased to MOP85,331 (US$10,683) a square metre in November, 6 percent more than in October, the Financial Services Bureau says.

The increase was the fourth in as many months, but the average price of housing remained below May’s record peak of MOP98,187 a square metre.

Housing prices fell after a law regulating presales of unfinished flats came into force in June.

The number of homes sold was 798 in November, increasing for the third month in a row.
