Airport passenger throughput hits 5.48 mln in 2014

Macau International Airport handled over 5.48 million passengers last year, 9 percent more than the year before, the airport operator says.

The company says the annual number of takeoffs and landings the airport handled rose by 7 percent to about 53,000.

It says passenger throughput grew steadily as the number and scope of air services to and from Macau increased.
