Airport launches link service at Gongbei border

The Macau International Airport Co Ltd (CAM) launched a new express link service at the Gongbei border on Monday.

The service will allow passengers coming from or going to the mainland to bypass Macau passport controls and customs.

A similar service already exists between the airport and Hengqin Island.

Meanwhile, CAM said in a press release that “some carriers” from Malaysia and Cambodia have recently expressed interest in launching flights to Macau.

CAM said it “is actively communicating with these airlines, aiming to cooperate with them and to launch new air services to Macau within this year.”
