Package tours up in April

Visitor arrivals on package tours increased by 10.2 percent year-on-year to 767,000 in April, official data shows.

Package tour visitors mainly came from the mainland (583,000), followed by those from Taiwan (49,000), South Korea (35,000) and Hong Kong (33,000).

In the first four months of 2013, visitors on package tours totalled 3.1 million, up by 11.4 percent year-on-year.
