Three out of five homes cost MOP4 million or above

Three out of every five homes sold during the first four months of 2013 cost MOP4 million (US$500,000) or above, shows data released yesterday by the Statistics and Census Service.

From January to April, a total of 5,233 residential transactions were recorded. Of those, 57 percent had a price tag of MOP4 million or above.

Data shows that, on average, home transactions are getting more expensive.

Last year, just 37 percent of the total number of residential sales stood at MOP4 million or above.
