Macau’s migrant labour force grows to 182,135

Macau employed 182,135 migrant workers last month, 10.7 per cent more than a year earlier, the Human Resources Office says.

The office’s data indicate that hotels, restaurants and similar enterprises employed 47,804 workers, construction employed 45,472 and 23,259 were domestic servants.

Mainlanders made up 117,262 of the total, Filipinos made up 24,243, Vietnamese 14,618 and Hongkongers 9,304.
