Most estate agents still lack permanent licences

By October 20 over 4,300 estate agents operating under temporary permits had failed to apply for permanent licences, the Housing Bureau says.

A written statement issued by the bureau says it had granted permanent licences to 1,495 estate agents by that date.

Temporary permits expire on June 30.

The bureau urged holders of temporary permits to complete the requirements for obtaining permanent licences to operate as estate agents.
