Average price of housing drops 11.5 pct in Q3

The average price of housing fell to MOP84,342 (about US$10,543) per square metre in the third quarter of this year, 11.5 per cent less than in the second, the Statistics and Census Service says.

The service’s data indicate that the number of homes sold decreased by 17.5 per cent to 1,537.

The number of homes sold off the plan decreased by 46.1 per cent to 246, and the average price they fetched fell by 47.7 per cent to MOP113,857 per square metre.
